EXHIBITION

Belgium, France, Switzerland. In "Plan à 3", these three countries confront their traditional culture of Franco-European comics, to rethink what built it. It is roughly called "Franco-Belgian comics", in its definitions in memory of a "golden age", now distant, which saw the birth of many masters, key characters, and major works.

The contemporary reality

The contemporary reality of French-speaking European comics cannot be reduced to this definition. The exhibition proposes, without claiming to be exhaustive, to revisit our comic book culture with a fresh eye. She thus offers a portrait by touches and selected pieces that speaks to us of filiation, transmission, and creation. It allows us to meet its actors, to visit its territory, to measure its influence, and underlines the proliferation and modernity of French-speaking European comics today.

This exhibition questions the heritage heritage of classic "Franco-Belgian" comics in contemporary European French-speaking comics, through more than a hundred original plates and reproductions.
